The Ubiquiti UNVR-EU is a rack-mount, four-bay UniFi Protect recorder that centralizes video for small and mid-size sites. It pairs enterprise storage with easy UniFi management, so MSPs can standardize builds and speed handovers. With four 2.5/3.5 inch bays, UNVR-EU supports RAID and long retention for dense camera fleets. It records up to 60 Full HD cameras or about 18 4K cameras for roughly 30 days when drives are sized correctly. You can right-size retention by mixing capacities and tuning camera profiles. Moreover, storage planning is straightforward with UniFi’s built-in calculators and profiles.
UNVR-EU includes one 10G SFP+ uplink and one 1 GbE RJ45, which fits mixed backbones and uplink tiers. The internal AC supply powers the chassis while USP-RPS readiness adds DC redundancy for critical sites. Maximum draw is 100 W with a 75 W budget for installed drives.
